Glossy or Matte Finish?

Glossy tiles are perfect for smaller rooms, as they can make them appear larger. They also brighten up a room and give it a sense of space. Glossy tiles have an almost mirror-like effect, which can be very effective in adding light to dark spaces.

Matte tiles are the most popular finish for bathrooms, kitchens and other high-traffic areas. They have a matte or low-gloss appearance that makes them easier to clean than glossy tiles.

Matte tile finishes include:

Granite – The most common type of natural stone used in homes today. It comes in many colors and patterns, but the most popular ones are black or gray with white veins (which resemble marble).

Slate – A heavy rock that’s formed from compressed shale deposits found near water sources such as rivers or streams; it can be either flat or slanted at an angle on one side (known as “slate“).

Slate is often used for flooring because it has excellent durability and resistance against stains such as oil spills from cars parked outside your home–but it can also be used on walls if you want something unique
